Casa Moderna
Branding, Off-screen, PatterN
Casa Moderna is a three-day interior design exposition that showcases home improvement and design trends, products, and services.
Evoking the layers of paint and wallpaper that are revealed during a home renovation, my concept explores the home as a living archive. That old scrap of kitschy wallpaper can be a big source of inspiration!
To express the concept, I wanted to incorporate a realistic ripped texture and a vintage feel.
I recreated three wallpaper patterns from the '70s (hand-painting one of them) and printed custom wallpaper.
Then, I ripped the paper up! Each wallpaper scrap was scanned in and edited in Photoshop.

This project was created as student work at the Shillington School of Graphic Design.
