Signature is a quarterly magazine concept designed for readers who enjoy profound, personal, and long-form music storytelling.
The cover story of the debut Spring issue celebrates the women of folk music. Rather than using images of the musicians, I illustrated the article with custom-made collages. The type and collages are inspired by classic folk album covers that utilize Victorian imagery.
This project was created as student work at the Shillington School of Graphic Design.
