Surgical Science Museum
BRANDING, typography, Digital
One of Chicago’s hidden gems, The International Museum of Surgical Science maintains a unique collection of art and artifacts related to surgery. It also hosts rotating contemporary art inspired by surgery and medicine.
This rebrand concept simplifies and refines existing brand elements to give the museum a distinctive identity. A flexible, modern slice is the basis of the identity, representing both a physical incision and the “cutting edge” ideas of the pioneers featured in the museum.
This project was created as student work at the Shillington School of Graphic Design.
